the-american asked: Hello! You came up on my feed randomly so I decided to check out your blog, and guess what! We are like the same person. Don't freak out too much. Next year I'm going to spain to spend my junior year there all alone, and it was really cool to read about everything you went through in anticipation for what I will go through. Great blog. <3
That’s awesome! Thanks xx
derfhnsk-deactivated20110730 asked: Hello, I just thought I'd click on your blog to remind myself why I followed you :) I think it's the 'American living in England'-I'm an English person living in France! Haha, what brought you to England? (Sorry for sounding so creepy)...x
haha awesome. Not creepy at all! I just loved England and wanted to live there. Yep, sadly back in America now :( but I’ll go home (in the sense of where my heart still is) as soon as I can! xx
natfilko asked: Your whole list of "things my heart wants" is basically a list of things MY heart wants. It's a great list. What are you doing in England, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks! Haha that’s awesome. We are heart wants twins… Haha. I was just living there because I could, but I’m regretfully back in America now! xx

nexttoperfectt asked: I just want to say that I have been a follower ever since you first blogged about your new apartment. I still remember it. You showed us you're fridge, your living room, your kitchen. London, how excited you were. I can say that this is definitely one of my favourite blogs out there. Every week, I would come on and see what you did. So, in a way, saying goodbye to England will almost be as tough for us, because we have been reading your blog. Thanks for the amazng ride! I have a question though, will you be coming back to London?
This made me tear up. Thank you so much. Haha I remember the fridge and my excitement. I miss England so much. Yes, I will be going back to London. As soon as possible. xxx
that awkward moment when I come back from England and
MY DASHBOARD IS EVIL.
and so begins the reverse culture shock, the graduation, the parties, the ex boyfriends, and the first day back at work in the ice cream store. I have some very sweet messages to answer, but I can’t answer them on my iPad. When I next get t a computer, there will be new posts and pictures!
Thank you all so much for being so wonderful.
I’m writing this at one in the morning, on June 2nd, so it’ll publish while I’m on the plane. I have a nine hour flight.
I started this blog with “I just bought my ticket to England.” and from there it has been over 600 posts of waiting to leave, leaving, and now returning.
I need to say thank you: to my old and constant followers, you amaze me and thank you for traveling with me on this wonderful trip; to my new followers, you amaze me as well, and I will keep blogging.
You have been with me these past four months; you’ve been there as I took off at age 17, as I experienced culture shock, as I lived in England, as I traveled to Vienna, as I fell in love, as I went through being parted from love, as I went to Scotland, as I went to Bath, as I went to France, and as I’m taking off again at age 18. And I love you all for it.
What now then?
How about reverse culture shock.
